The Origin of Ricciarelli

Ricciarelli are named after Ricciardetto della Gherardesca, who, upon returning from the Crusades, brought almond paste sweets to Tuscany, where they achieved undisputed success.

INGREDIENTI: sugar – almonds 34% – toasted pistachio grains 11% – icing sugar 7% (sugar, corn starch) – fresh pasteurised free-range egg white – soluble chicory fibre – flavourings – preservative: sorbic acid – raising agent: ammonium hydrogen carbonate – salt. May contain wheat, milk, soya and hazelnuts. Despite careful checks, the product may contain shell fragments or residues.
