The origin of Ricciarelli

Ricciarelli take their name from Ricciardetto della Gherardesca who, upon returning from the Crusades, brought back to Tuscany some almond paste sweets that enjoyed undisputed success.

INGREDIENTI: sugar – almonds 30% – dark chocolate 10% (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, fat-reduced cocoa powder, emulsifier: lecithins, natural flavouring) – roasted hazelnuts 6.5% (flour, grains) – icing sugar 6% (sugar, maize starch) – roasted pistachio grains 5% – pasteurised free-range egg white – soluble chicory fibre – flavourings – preservative: sorbic acid – raising agent: ammonium hydrogen carbonate – salt.
